Earning Revenue

Affiliates can earn revenue from Subscribers, Ads, and Bits.

Cheering (with Bits) for Affiliates

Affiliates can use Bits to start earning revenue on their channels. They will receive 1 cent per Bit used to Cheer in their channel, same as Partners do, and will have access to all Cheering settings and features with the exception of Partner Custom Cheermotes. Affiliates will be able to track revenue from Bits on the Revenue tab of their Dashboard.

Advertising revenue share for Affiliates

Affiliates earn a share of the revenue generated from any video ads played on their channel. Affiliates can determine the length and frequency of mid-roll ad breaks through their dashboard.

Twitch’s charity tool Fundraiser

Twitch’s charity tool makes it clear that a fundraiser is happening on the creator’s channel page making it easy for you to support the cause with less confusion about where the funds are going. When a creator is fundraising, the Subscribe button will become a Donate to Charity button

How to Make Donations

Donating during a charity stream using Twitch’s charity tool is as easy as subscribing to your favorite creator’s channel and you will remain on Twitch for the entire process.

You will notice that the Subscribe button is now displayed as a Donate to Charity button.

Clicking on it will bring up a popup that will allow you to select the dollar amount (USD) you wish to donate.
